Loving God & Loving Neighbor - June 14
Come and join us for the second week of our Christian Education series on outreach. Each of the next six weeks will feature one of our partners. On Sunday, June 14, El Pasoans Fighting Hunger will be featured led by our member, Mark Matthys, recent board president of EPFH and Susan Goodell, chief executive officer of EPFH. EPFH has seen a 400% increase in demand for food due to Covid-19 and is supporting 5 mega-pantry sites almost daily. The class starts at 9:10 am on Zoom.
Each of the next six Sundays will feature one of our significant partners and will include the following:
Introduction of the partner
Why we support this partner and its mission.
What is the theological basis or background of the mission?
How do UPC donations and volunteers help?
Does the partner have additional needs?
Questions from the audience
Sunday, June 21, will feature Light of the Village, an African-American ministry in Mobile, Alabama led by Jay and Dolores Eads.
Come learn and bring your questions!
